Revitalization: Buffalo, NY: This Place Matters

Created nearly 2 years ago for the 2011 National Preservation Conference being held in Buffalo This Place Matters is perhaps still the most inspirational video made about the Queen City’s metamorphosis. Providing striking perspective and beauty the video highlights locations and people who are working to make Buffalo a better place.

The final spoken words of the Buffalo Niagara Convention & Visitor Bureau promotional video are: “The grassroots organizations that are around here and the preservation crowd, I think that’s the mentality that we’re using, is that inch by inch, yard by yard, we’re going to make a difference.” With cranes and building projects all across the city in 2012 it is prophetic.
