Architecture: Buffalo Central Terminal Last week What’s New Buffalo celebrated the temporary postponement of the demolition to the North Office of the Bethlehem Steel Plant with several original photographs. We celebrate again this week with another architectural masterpiece- the Buffalo Central Terminal. While the Terminal is now being brought back to life by the Central Terminal Restoration Corporation, it too came dangerously close to its demise.  The Central Terminal today is a paragon for Old North’s future. Today What’s New Buffalo will share several original photos of the Central Terminal when its future was as uncertain as Lackawanna’s North Office. In the first picture (above) the tower of the Terminal reflects the evening sunlight into a broken window of the nearby office window.
