Sustainability: WNY Media Network covers Buffalo’s Green Porous Streets

Deemed “green infrastructure” Mayor Brown announced the completion of the first porous asphalt streets in the Northeast USA on Clarendon Place and Claremont Avenue. Porous asphalt allows the water to flow beneath the surface of the street making it safer for drivers and improving groundwater quality. Part of a larger city initiative known as the Stormwater Program, Buffalo is continuing to set a national standard on sustainable living.

The fledgling news source Western New York Media Network covered the event adding to their growing list of professionally produced videos. This regional networking player also offers social media, video, and web design services making it an organization to keep your eyes on as Western New York grows.
