Revitalization: Federal Reserve’s New Era
While the closing of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York Buffalo Branch did carry national importance it can be said that Buffalo’s own nationally recognized New Era Cap made 160 Delaware Avenue far more inviting. Above the old Buffalo Branch is seen before the 2006 makeover as well as after. A New Era symbol sits front and center replacing the federal eagle that is now mounted to stone next to the building as a reminder of its past.
