Revitalization: Tom Toles Interview

The IP comes out with another nationally recognized Buffalonian interview- this time with Pulitzer Prize cartoonist Tom Toles. Toles now draws for the Washington Post after leaving The Buffalo News in 2002. Toles returns to Buffalo each summer and when asked what strikes him about the city he says, “The economy just feels like it’s getting better finally, ya know my whole life there was this feeling of erosion… now when I talk to people and walk around and look at some of the reviving areas of Buffalo… people just have a different sense. In the last year or two, three years… we’re building back into something really positive here.”
