Revitalization: Oishei Bestows $10 Million for New Children’s Hospital
The John R. Oishei Foundation donated $10 million toward a new 12 story, 400,000 square foot hospital that will be located directly in the growing Medical Park between Main Street and the Fruit Belt.
Also, the Grigg-Lewis Foundation donated $4 million to the creation of a new $14 million ice rink in Lockport. This announcement comes right on the heels of Terry Pegula’s $123 million revamp of the Webster Block which will hold two ice rinks. Western New York has a strong future in medicine and hockey.
