IBM to bring 500 new jobs to Buffalo
The Buffalo Billion has attracted another tenant to Buffalo; this time it’s the world’s biggest technology services company IBM and they will be moving into burgeoning Medical Campus. IBM came to Buffalo on the news of $105 million in infrastructure improvements to link Buffalo and Manhattan. IBM plans to have the 500 new jobs in Buffalo in 3 - 5 years.
Other companies that have been lured to Buffalo on the Buffalo Billion include Silevo and Soraa, two Californian companies who will be located at the future Riverbend clean-tech hub, and Albany Molecular Research, who found a home at the Medical Campus with IBM.
